Ms. Uba
Teacher at Ibadan High School, loves history
- 🇳🇬 Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria
- Ibadan High School
- 1989 to 2025
- English, Yoruba, French
For 36 years I was the history teacher at Ibadan High School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Uba
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ms. Uba: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me history in 2025 at Ibadan High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
