Ms. Uba
30 years teaching geography in Ikeja
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Boys' School
- 1997 to 2020
- English, Hausa
For 23 years I was the geography teacher at Ikeja Boys' School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

What gifts mean to Ms. Uba: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me geography in 2007 at Ikeja Boys' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
