For 26 years I have been the environmental science teacher at Silverlake Technical College. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Tumusiime
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Tumusiime: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
