Ms. Tomas
Agriculture and drama teacher, Manila
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Starlight High School
- Since 1984
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Ms. Tomas
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Tomas: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me agriculture in 2016 at Starlight High School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
