Ms. Tomas
Retired special education teacher from St. Mary's Academy

- 1982 to 2005

I taught special education at St. Mary's Academy in Makati from 1982 to 2005. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Tomas
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Tomas: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
