Ms. Thomas
Retired economics teacher from Atlas Middle School
- 🇺🇸 Hialeah, Florida, United States
- 1983 to 2003
- English, French
Atlas Middle School was my second home. I taught economics there from 1983 to 2003, mostly Year 10.
Over the years I had 360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Thomas
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Thomas: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me economics in 1996 at Atlas Middle School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

I was in your Year 10 class in 2001. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Glasgow.
