For 24 years I have been the French teacher at Acacia Secondary School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Ms. Thakkar: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
