Ms. Thakkar
17 years teaching economics in Kolkata
- 🇮🇳 Kolkata, West Bengal, India
- Since 1981
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 45 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Ms. Thakkar
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me economics in 1983 at Frangipani Academy. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays.
