For 18 years I have been the environmental science teacher at Duque de Caxias Girls' School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Ms. Teixeira
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Teixeira: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
