I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,650 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Teixeira
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Ms. Teixeira: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
