Ms. Tavares
Social studies and mathematics teacher, Guarulhos
- 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Ashford Girls' School
- 1985 to 2010
- English, Portuguese
I taught social studies at Ashford Girls' School in Guarulhos from 1985 to 2010. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 1,130 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Tavares
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
