I teach history at Yonkers Middle School in Yonkers since 2009. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ms. Tate: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
