Ms. Tan
Early years teacher at Summit Secondary School, Since 1981
- 🇺🇸 Arlington, Texas, United States

- English, Mandarin
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 45 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Tan
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Tan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
