Ms. Swai
Early years and physics teacher, Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- 1978 to 2012
- English, Swahili, Spanish
For 34 years I was the early years teacher at Nairobi High School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,940 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Swai
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Swai: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
