Ms. Sugiyama
17 years teaching statistics in Kitakyushu
- 🇯🇵 Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan
- Unity Public School

For 45 years I have been the statistics teacher at Unity Public School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I play music while people worked.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Sugiyama
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Sugiyama: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me statistics in 2013 at Unity Public School. I still remember that terrible school play.
