I teach religious studies at Bamboo Academy in Half-Way Tree since 1979. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I never raise my voice.
I've run the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Stephenson
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Stephenson: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
