Ms. Stavrou
Agriculture and mathematics teacher, Piraeus
- 🇬🇷 Piraeus, Attica, Greece
- Piraeus Secondary School
- 1986 to 2019
- English, Greek
I taught agriculture at Piraeus Secondary School in Piraeus from 1986 to 2019. Most days I taught Year 9, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Stavrou
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Stavrou: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me agriculture in 1992 at Piraeus Secondary School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
