Ms. Stanley
36 years teaching physical education in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- 1979 to 2008
- English, Spanish
I taught physical education at Lincoln Public School in Los Angeles from 1979 to 2008. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I learned every name in the first week.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Stanley
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Stanley: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
