Ms. Ssemwogerere
19 years teaching home economics in Mukono
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Kingsway Grammar School
- Since 2004
- English, Swahili, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ssemwogerere: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me home economics in 2008 at Kingsway Grammar School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
