I taught statistics at Fresno Grammar School in Fresno from 1982 to 1993. Most days I taught Year 9, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. Over the years I had 360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
