Ms. Sorokin
Accounting and drama teacher, Kharkiv
- 🇺🇦 Kharkiv, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine
- Beacon High School
- Since 1979
- English, Ukrainian
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Ms. Sorokin: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
