Ms. Somayajula
Economics teacher at Sakura Academy, 2017 to 2025

I taught economics at Sakura Academy in Varanasi from 2017 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I never once raised my voice.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me economics in 2020 at Sakura Academy. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
