I taught history at New Orleans Boys' School in New Orleans from 2001 to 2013. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Ms. Solís: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
