I teach history at Yekaterinburg Middle School in Yekaterinburg since 1999. Most days I teach Year 7, and I learn every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Smirnov
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Smirnov: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
