18 years teaching music in Los Angeles

For 45 years I have been the music teacher at Los Angeles High School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Simmons
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Simmons: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
