Newcastle upon Tyne High School is my second home. I teach design and technology there since 1983, mostly the final-year class.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Ms. Simmons: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
