Ms. Simiyu
Teacher at Jacaranda Academy, loves home economics

- Jacaranda Academy
- 1993 to 2016
- English, Swahili
For 23 years I was the home economics teacher at Jacaranda Academy. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Ms. Simiyu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
