I taught Spanish at Pioneer Public School in Birmingham from 1992 to 2019. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Ms. Silva
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
