Ms. Silva

25 years teaching history in Caruaru

  • 🇧🇷 Caruaru, Pernambuco, Brazil
  • Phoenix Middle School
  • 1979 to 2006
  • Portuguese
I taught history at Phoenix Middle School in Caruaru from 1979 to 2006. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I answered every email, even at midnight. I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river. Thank you for stopping by.

More about Ms. Silva

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Silva: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
