Ms. Silva
Taught home economics at Macon High School
- 🇺🇸 Macon, Georgia, United States
- Macon High School
- 1993 to 2002
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ms. Silva
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Silva: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
