Ms. Silva
Religious studies and Spanish teacher, Kandy
- 🇱🇰 Kandy, Central, Sri Lanka
- Westbrook Secondary School
- 1989 to 2014
- English, Sinhala
Westbrook Secondary School was my second home. I taught religious studies there from 1989 to 2014, mostly Grade 6.
Over the years I had 1,230 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Silva
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ms. Silva: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me religious studies in 2002 at Westbrook Secondary School. I still remember that terrible school play

You taught me religious studies in 2008 at Westbrook Secondary School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
