For nine years I was the biology teacher at Makassar Public School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 230 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Sihombing
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
