I teach social studies and environmental science at Rosewood High School, Detroit. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I've had 720 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Sidhu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
