Ms. Shittu

37 years teaching biology in Ikeja

🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
Oakwood Secondary School
Since 1995
English

I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Ms. Shittu

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 1996. You believed I could do it before I did! Truly.
