I teach biology at Rajkot Technical College in Rajkot since 1998. Most days I teach first-year students, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Shinde
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Ms. Shinde: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
