I taught home economics and chemistry at Maple Ridge Public School, Bronx. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Shi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
