Ms. Shevchuk
Social studies and biology teacher, Kyiv
- 🇺🇦 Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine
- 2008 to 2018
- English, Russian
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Shevchuk
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

you taught me social studies in 2025 at Kyiv Academy. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand
