I taught religious studies and statistics at Phoenix Public School, Chennai. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Ms. Shetty: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
