Ms. Shayo
Physics and English literature teacher, Kisumu
- 🇰🇪 Kisumu, Kisumu, Kenya
- Summit Primary School
- Since 1993
- English, Swahili, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight.

What gifts mean to Ms. Shayo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
