Ms. Shayo
33 years teaching chemistry in Arusha
- 🇹🇿 Arusha, Arusha, Tanzania
- Arusha High School
- 1979 to 2002
- English
For 23 years I was the chemistry teacher at Arusha High School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Shayo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
