I taught history at Bristol Academy in Bristol from 2016 to 2024. Most days I taught first-year students, and I learned every name in the first week.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Shaker
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
