For 34 years I have been the religious studies teacher at Sacramento Public School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
More about Ms. Serrano
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
