I taught English literature at Mount Pleasant Technical College in Berlin from 2012 to 2021. Most days I taught primary school children, and I learned every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Ms. Schreiber: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
