I taught mathematics at Bengaluru Boys' School in Bengaluru from 1988 to 2014. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I played music while people worked.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Sastry: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your the youngest children class in 2004. You believed I could do it before I did.
