Ms. Sarı
Teacher at Istanbul Academy, loves religious studies

I taught religious studies at Istanbul Academy in Istanbul from 1982 to 2012. Most days I taught Year 10, and I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Sarı
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Sarı: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
