Ms. Santoso
Geography and religious studies teacher, Jakarta Barat
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Barat, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Since 1996
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Santoso
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me geography in 2012 at St. Joseph's Secondary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
