Ms. Santos
37 years teaching English literature in Belo Horizonte

For 22 years I have been the English literature teacher at Silverlake Secondary School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Santos
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Santos: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
