I taught economics at Hillcrest Technical College in São Paulo from 1982 to 2002. Most days I taught first-year students, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Ms. Santana: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
