I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Sanders
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me special education in 2023 at Stonebridge High School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
