For 24 years I was the music teacher at Starlight High School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Sanders
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
